Section 1: Answering the Call
Our hearts are filled with excitement and anticipation as we embark on this new chapter of our lives in the beautiful country of Brazil. For the past five years, Stephen has been serving on church staff as a music and youth pastor, while I, Jenifer, come from a family with a strong missionary background. Together, we have felt a clear calling from God to serve Him in Brazil.
The decision to move to Brazil was not made lightly. We spent months in prayer and seeking guidance, and through various signs and confirmations, we knew that this was where God wanted us to be. We believe that we have been equipped with the skills, experiences, and passion necessary to make a positive impact in the lives of the people of Brazil.
Section 2: Language School in São Paulo
In order to effectively serve the Brazilian community, we recognize the importance of learning the language and understanding the culture. That is why we are currently raising support to attend language school in São Paulo, the vibrant and diverse metropolis of Brazil. São Paulo offers a unique blend of modernity and tradition, and we believe that immersing ourselves in this city will help us gain a deeper understanding of the country and its people.
We are excited to begin our language studies, as we know that being able to effectively communicate with the locals will not only help us build meaningful relationships, but also enable us to share the message of God’s love in a more impactful way. Language school will provide us with the necessary tools to navigate through everyday life in Brazil, as well as equip us with the skills to minister to the people we encounter.
Section 3: A Journey of Faith
Our journey to Brazil is not just a physical one, but also a spiritual one. It requires us to step out in faith and trust in God’s provision. We are relying on the support of our friends, family, and church community to help us raise the necessary funds to cover our living expenses, language school tuition, and other associated costs.
As we prepare to embark on this adventure, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve God in a foreign land. We know that it will not always be easy, but we are confident that God will guide us every step of the way.
