The Beginning of Our Adventure
Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes, it is these very moments that lead us to our greatest adventures. This is exactly what happened to us. Stephen, with his passion for music and youth, and me, Jenifer, a third-generation missionary. Little did we know that our paths would intertwine and lead us on an incredible journey to the beautiful country of Brazil.
After serving on church staff for five years as a music and youth pastor, Stephen felt a stirring in his heart to do something more. It was during a mission trip to Brazil that he realized his true calling. God was tugging at his heartstrings, urging him to serve Him in this diverse and vibrant country.
Answering the Call
The decision to answer God’s call and become missionaries in Brazil was not an easy one. It meant leaving behind the familiar and venturing into the unknown. However, with faith as our guide, we embarked on this new chapter of our lives.
Now, here we are, ready to take the next step in our journey. Our first mission is to learn the language and immerse ourselves in the culture of Brazil. To do this, we are raising support to begin language school in São Paulo.
A Bright Future Ahead
As we look forward to the future, we are filled with hope and excitement. We know that there will be challenges along the way, but we also believe that these challenges will only make us stronger. We are excited to witness firsthand the transformative power of God’s love in the lives of the people we will meet in Brazil.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and share the incredible message of God’s love and grace. Our hearts are open, and our spirits are ready to embrace all that God has in store for us in this beautiful country.
