Embracing a New Adventure
As we embark on this journey to Brazil, we are filled with excitement and anticipation. Our hearts are open to the new experiences, challenges, and opportunities that await us in this beautiful country.
Stephen’s years of serving in the church have prepared him well for the role of music and youth pastor in Brazil. His passion for music and his ability to connect with young people will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the local community. Jenifer, being a third-generation missionary, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our mission. Her deep understanding of the culture and her unwavering faith will guide us in our endeavors.
Answering God’s Call
We firmly believe that it is God who has called us to serve Him in Brazil. We have witnessed His hand at work in our lives, guiding us towards this purpose. We are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to spread the love of Christ in a country that is known for its warmth and hospitality.
Our first step in this journey is to attend language school in São Paulo. Learning the local language will enable us to connect with the people on a deeper level, understand their needs, and effectively communicate the message of Jesus. We are ready to immerse ourselves in the Brazilian culture, embracing the language, traditions, and customs.
Exploring the Beauty and Diversity of Brazil
Brazil is a land of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities, and a rich cultural heritage. From the stunning beaches of Rio de Janeiro to the majestic Amazon rainforest, there is never a shortage of natural wonders to explore. We can’t wait to experience the unique blend of music, dance, and art that is deeply ingrained in the Brazilian way of life.
But what truly captivates us about Brazil is the people and their faith. The Brazilian society is deeply rooted in Christianity, and we are excited to witness the vibrant and passionate worship that takes place in the churches. We believe that by immersing ourselves in the local communities, we will not only be able to share the gospel but also learn and grow in our own faith.
